A natural sea sponge is perfect for washing babies and tots, as it goes incredibly soft when immersed in water. Natural sponge is highly absorbent (up to 30 times its weight).  A sea sponge is very low in PH, which makes it ideal for  little ones sensitive skin. A natural sea sponge is ideal for use at bath time with your baby. Please Note: Whilst your little ones might confuse it with SpongeBob - these Sea Sponges do not have square pants.
For Moms:
Sea Sponges have been used by women around the Mediterranean and Pacific, to collect their menses for thousands of years.  Natural sponge is highly absorbent (up to 30 times its weight).  A sea sponge is very low in PH, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin. Fun Fact: Womankind has used many things through the ages to collect their menses. From rags, to moss, to grass and many other absorbent materials. It is said that Cleopatra used sea sponges internally. What a fabulous Pharaoh.

Tampons were recently outed for being made with chemicals that have been linked to health risks. These include harsh pesticides and chemicals, like chlorine (more on that in a minute). Add to that the fact that the FDA doesn't regulate tampons closely enough (meaning not everything in them is approved) and that your vagina is naturally very absorbent, and it seems pretty terrifying.

Sea Sponges contain a natural enzyme that inhibits, but does not prevent the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. After each use, it is best to let them completely dry. You can use one of the following methods below to occasionally disinfect the sponge:
